Everybody’s waiting for their wave to start. I should’ve gone for some more DOF, but it was just a quick grab shot.

After a long hiatus, I’m hopefully going to stick with the picture of the week again. This is a blue whale as we saw it coming out of the water yesterday. The shot is cropped a bit, and shot with a 200mm lens, but that was still very close.

I don’t know what it is, but I just love seeing the ESPN guys hit the wrong button or whatever it is they do to get these busted stat overlays. Maybe there needs to be a 10s delay so somebody can override them with the live feed whenever this happens. In related news, Tony Kornheiser [...]
