I’ve got this mediocre shot of a rose. There’s nice detail there, but the lighting just isn’t right. But if you turn it into a black and white, everything instantly becomes more artsy. So there you go.

Today, somebody took a gun to school and killed 31 people.
There isn’t a single thing right with that sentence. It happened, though. Lucky for me, nobody I know was involved, but I feel deeply sorry for anybody who was hurt, their families and friends.

PotW: Oil Rig

Better really late than never. We went on a whale watching excursion with my parents. Sadly, we didn’t find any whales. We did see a ton of dolphins as well as a huge amount of birds. The best shot of the trip features this oil rig, however.
